Cleaning with Vinegar
For the past couple of months I have been pursuing "other" ways of effective household cleaning. Why? Well, my little Wild Man, loves to help Mama. He likes to "spray" the cleaner and try to wipe it away. As his Mama, I have felt bad many times because regular household cleaners not safe for a toddler and can't be trusted for them to really help clean with. Just water does Not cut it,or clean it. I went to my friend Google for help. Searching with key words like, green cleaning, kid safe, DIY cleaning... DIY did it! VINEGAR! Duh, why didn't I think of this? I'm sure my Mom has mention Vinegar? I spent a good hour reading and jotting down, ways of cleaning with this element. I remembered, I have a jug of this money saving cleaning GOLD,in the very back of the pantry. I ran across a blog called the The New Homemaker. Which gave me a Very helpful start!
I started testing the New cleaner by putting 2 parts vinegar and 2 parts water in a spray bottle. Spraying it on Everything in need of cleaning(almost the whole damn neighborhood, kidding). I liked! It seemed Too easy... More research... I found a DIY surface cleaning on Pinterest. 1 tsp. Borax, 1tsp. Washing Soda, 3 tbsp. Vinegar, 1 1/2 tsp liquid soap into a 24oz spray bottle and then fill with hot water! I wanted to try this. It was Thursday. I try to do my shopping on Tuesday... Wildman and I were off to the store. threw the above items into the cart and some beef jerky! I love beef jerky. Sorry.Anyways we raced home to mix it. This surface cleaner seemed to work well! I tested it on the counters, toilet,counters... Only 9 cents to make. This seems a little Crazy?? 9 cents... The surface cleaner I normally buy is $3.79, if I don't get it on sale and of course without a coupon(I hate coupons, but I try to use them) This DIY Surface cleaner works Great! Its cheap and Wildman can help me spray, as long as he doesn't drink it. Awesome! Give it a try! It works Great!
Have a Great Day!
